Special Statement
Issued: 1:28 PM EST Dec. 12, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Snow showers will impact travel this afternoon...

Snow showers will persist this afternoon in a cold northwest
flow. Conditions will change rapidly in these snow showers, with
visibilities quickly dropping to a half miles or less. These snow
showers will also produce light snow accumulation with temperatures
falling into the lower 20s today. The combination of brief heavy
snow and cold temperatures can lead to hazardous driving conditions.

Motorists should remain aware that they may encounter rapidly
changing driving conditions with poor visibility and icy roads.

Additional snow showers and snow squalls will be possible this
evening.
