The Flood Warning continues for
the Spy Run Creek at spy run
* until further notice.
* At 5 PM Monday the stage was 11.0 feet and rising.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will rise to a crest near 11.3 feet around 5
am Tuesday February 20 and begin falling.
* At 12.0 feet... roads nearest the creek flood and Transfer of
property to higher ground becomes necessary with evacuations
possible.

the Flood Warning has been extended for
the Little River above Huntington
* from late tonight until further notice.
* At 5 PM Monday the stage was 13.1 feet and rising.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will rise above flood stage very early Tuesday
morning and crest near 15.6 feet around 6 PM Tuesday February 20.
Additional rises are possible thereafter.
* At 16.0 feet... moderate flooding is in progress. Secondary roads
are blocked by flood waters. People in these areas should move
property to higher ground and those nearest the river may have to
evacuate their homes.

the Maumee River at Fort Wayne
* from Tuesday afternoon until further notice.
* At 5 PM Monday the stage was 12.9 feet and rising.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will rise above flood stage Tuesday afternoon
and crest near 24.1 feet around 7 PM Thursday February 22.
Additional rises are possible thereafter.

the Saint Joseph River Ohio near St. Joe river ft. Wayne
* from Tuesday morning until further notice.
* At 5 PM Monday the stage was 8.2 feet and rising.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will rise above flood stage Tuesday morning
and crest near 18.8 feet around 7 PM Wednesday February 21.
Additional rises are possible thereafter.
* At 19.0 feet... an increasing number of city streets flood with a
few homes in Concordia Gardens affected by high water.

the Saint Joseph River Ohio above Newville
* from this evening until further notice.
* At 5 PM Monday the stage was 12.2 feet and rising.
* Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to 17.0 feet around 7 am
Saturday February 24 with additional rises possible thereafter.
* At 17.0 feet... residential flooding occurs in Leo, Indiana.

... Flood Watch remains in effect through Wednesday afternoon...

The Flood Watch continues for

* portions of northern Indiana, southwest Michigan, and Northwest
Ohio through Wednesday afternoon

* periods of moderate to heavy rain are likely to cause flooding
on area streams, rivers and low lying areas prone to flooding.

* Additional amounts of 2 to 4 inches are expected by Wednesday
morning, heaviest northwest of US 24 in northern Indiana and
southwest lower Michigan.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

If you live along streams and rivers or in any flood prone area,
remain alert to this flooding potential the next several days.
