... Flood Watch in effect through Wednesday morning...

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has expanded the

* Flood Watch to include portions of central Indiana and west
central Indiana, including the following areas, in central
Indiana, Boone, Clinton, Howard, and Tipton. In west central
Indiana, Fountain, Montgomery, Parke, and Vermillion.

* Through Wednesday morning

* periods of moderate to heavy rain are expected across the area
today and tonight.

* This rain will cause flooding of some area rivers and may
cause flooding of streams and low lying areas.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
