The Flood Warning continues for
the Clifty creek at Hartsville.
* From late tonight until further notice.
* At 9:00 PM Saturday the stage was 6.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by early tomorrow and continue to
rise to near 11.2 feet by tomorrow late morning.
* At 11.0 feet... low portions of Clifty creek immediately north of
Hartsville and in the Newbern area flood.

The Flood Warning continues for
the East Fork White River at Columbus.
* From late tonight to Tuesday evening.
* At 9:00 PM Saturday the stage was 6.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by early tomorrow and continue to
rise to near 11.4 feet by early Monday morning. The river will
fall below flood stage by Tuesday morning.
* At 11.2 feet... State Road 11 in the Garden City area closed at this
level during March 2008 flood. Every Road leading to or crossing
the East Fork White River in Bartholomew County except for State
Road 46 was flooded during the bigger March 2008 flood. All roads
were flooded in June 2008.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Driftwood river near Edinburgh 2 SW.
* Until late Tuesday night.
* At 8:30 PM Saturday the stage was 10.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by tonight and continue to rise
to near 14.6 feet by tomorrow evening. The river will fall below
flood stage by Tuesday afternoon.
* At 14.9 feet... extensive flooding along Driftwood river in northern
Bartholomew County on March 7 2011. Double y saddle club area
extensively flooded. Water flowing over CR 950 N to club. CR 330w
is flooded just south of its intersection with Ohio ridge Rd. CR
500n west of CR 250w is flooded blocking vehicular access to
residences near the river bank. Lowell public access site is
completely flooded. Water very near several residences and
seasonal homes along CR 330w and CR 325w.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Flatrock river near Columbus.
* Until Tuesday evening.
* At 9:30 PM Saturday the stage was 9.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by early tomorrow and continue to
rise to near 13.5 feet by Monday early afternoon. The river will
fall below flood stage by Tuesday early afternoon.
* At 15.0 feet... extensive flooding in progress along the Flatrock
river. Portions of Riverside Drive north of US Highway 31 are
flooded. According to the Columbus response plan... Indianapolis
Road is flooded.

... Flood Watch remains in effect until 7 am EST Sunday...

The Flood Watch continues for

* portions of central Indiana, east central Indiana, south
central Indiana, southeast Indiana, southwest Indiana, and
west central Indiana, including the following areas, in
central Indiana, Bartholomew, Boone, Clinton, Decatur,
Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Howard, Johnson, Madison,
Marion, Morgan, rush, Shelby, and Tipton. In east central
Indiana, Delaware, Henry, and Randolph. In south central
Indiana, Brown, Jackson, Lawrence, and Monroe. In southeast
Indiana, Jennings. In southwest Indiana, Daviess, Greene,
Knox, Martin, and Sullivan. In west central Indiana, Clay,
Fountain, Montgomery, Owen, Parke, Putnam, Vermillion, and
Vigo.

* Until 7 am EST Sunday

* additional rainfall of 1 to 3 inches is expected through
Sunday morning, in areas that have already received
significant rainfall over the past few days. This will likely
worsen flooding on area waterways and lead to flooding of
other streams, low lying areas, and poor drainage areas.

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
