The Flood Warning continues for
the Ohio River at Tell City.
* Until further notice.
* At 7:00 am Tuesday the stage was 41.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 38.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 43.9 feet by
Friday evening. Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
* Impact... at 44.0 feet... bottomland on both sides floods. Water
reaches base of floodwall.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 44.4
feet on Mar 15 2011.

* Flood stage is 42.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 44.6 feet by
Friday evening.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 44.7
feet on Feb 22 2000.

... Gusty winds expected today...

Strong winds from the south-southwest are expected again today,
especially after 10 am EST. Wind gusts of 30-35 mph will be
common, with occasional gusts around 40 mph. Unsecured outdoor
items may be blown around, and some small tree branches could
come down. Motorists should use caution and be prepared for strong
Crosswinds on east-west highways, including Interstate 64 and the
western Kentucky and Bluegrass parkways. High-profile vehicles
will be impacted the most. Wind gusts will diminish after sunset.
