The Flood Warning continues for
the Wabash River at Clinton.
* From Sunday morning until further notice.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river is forecast to have a maximum value of 26.4
feet Tuesday morning.
* At 26.5 feet... backwater from the Wabash River receded enough along
Norton creek to reopen north Main Street just south of sr 63.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Wabash River at Montezuma.
* From late tonight until further notice.
* At 9:45 am Saturday the stage was 7.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by early tomorrow and continue to
rise to near 26.4 feet by Tuesday morning.
* At 26.0 feet... extensive lowland flooding in progress. Flood waters
at the edge of sr 234 near Lodi just west of the bridge over the
Wabash River. Several County roads in Fountain, Parke and
Vermillion counties are flooded, some by more than 2 feet of water.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Wabash River at Covington.
* From late Sunday night to Monday may 08.
* At 9:45 am Saturday the stage was 7.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by early Monday morning and
continue to rise to near 24.5 feet by Wednesday morning. The river
will fall below flood stage by Sunday before midnight.
* At 25.0 feet... many local roads are impassable. High water backs up
into Mud Run, cutting off some County roads just northwest of
Covington. North Sandhill Road begins to flood from Mallory
branch. Mud Creek extensively floods W CR 260 N and Sandhill Road
by backwater from the Wabash River.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Wabash River at Lafayette.
* From Sunday evening until further notice.
* At 9:30 am Saturday the stage was 4.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by tomorrow evening and continue
to rise to near 19.7 feet by Tuesday morning.
* At 20.0 feet... extensive flooding increases. Flood waters begin to
cover stair Road located on the southeast side of the river just
off sr 225 in NE Tippecanoe County. Low portions of Barton beach
Rd are flooded. Several river residences are nearly isolated by
high water. River residences near Interstate 65 are affected by
high water. River Road near River Bend hospital floods. Local
roads begin to flood in the Granville bridge area.

the Vermilion river near Danville.
* From Sunday morning until Wednesday afternoon.
* At 345 am Saturday the stage was 5.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by tomorrow morning and continue
to rise to near 26.0 feet by Monday afternoon.The river will fall
below flood stage by Wednesday morning.
* Impact... at 26.0 feet... flooding begins downstream in Eugene and
Cayuga Indiana.
