Issued: 3:32 AM EDT Sep. 30, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Flood Watch remains in effect through this evening...

The Flood Watch continues for

* a portion of Southeast Michigan... including the following
areas... Genesee... Lapeer... Livingston... Macomb... Oakland...
Shiawassee... St. Clair... Washtenaw and Wayne.

* Through this evening

* a general 2 to 4 inch rainfall occurred from Wednesday night
through Thursday with the highest concentration in the urbanized
area of Wayne... Oakland... and Macomb counties. This rainfall led
to some flooding in the urbanized areas of Metro Detroit. One to
inches fell elsewhere.

* Rain will persist on and off throughout today. Additional
rainfall amounts around an inch with some localized amounts in
excess of two inches are possible between early this morning and
early this evening. With already saturated soils... this
additional rainfall will make the region susceptible to more
