through Tuesday morning...

* what... significant icing possible, with accumulations near one
quarter of an inch.

* Where... the most likely area to see the heaviest ice
accumulations will be in a swath from south central up into
northeast Iowa.

* When... Monday evening through Tuesday morning.

* Additional details... power outages and tree damage are
possible due to the ice. Travel could be dangerous and nearly
impossible, especially on untreated roads and including during
the morning commute on Tuesday.

afternoon and will then diminish by mid-afternoon.

gusts to 45 mph or higher at times.

* Impacts... strong wind gusts will make driving difficult,
especially on east west roads and for high profile vehicles.
