... A Flood Warning remains in effect until 100 am CDT for
Chickasaw... southern Howard and Floyd counties...

Flooding from widespread rainfall amounts of 3 to 4 inches continues
across much of Chickasaw... Floyd... and far southern Howard counties.
Rain is tapering off across the area... but water levels will remain
high through the early morning hours of Wednesday.

In particular... significant rises can be expected along the
following streams and drainages...
Ackley creek... Beaver Creek... Peters Creek... little Wapsipinicon
River... Winnebago River... Cedar River... Turkey River... Wapsipinicon
River... Little Turkey creek... gizzard creek... Shell Rock River...
Rock creek... Elk Creek... Coldwater creek... Schultz creek...

Allamakee County in northeastern Iowa...
Mitchell County in north central Iowa...
Winneshiek County in northeastern Iowa...

* at 907 PM CDT... Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms across much of northeast Iowa.
This will cause Urban and Small Stream flooding in the advisory
area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen... with
additional thunderstorms expected over the next few hours
providing up to another inch of rainfall. Should additional rain
be even heavier... flash flooding will be possible.
