The Flood Warning continues for
the Big Sioux River above Hawarden.
* From this morning until further notice.
* At 9 am Saturday the stage was 20.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 20.5 feet.
* Recent activity... the river rose above flood stage on Saturday
April 21.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 23.2 feet by
Monday April 23. Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
* At stages near 23.0 feet... South Dakota Highway 46 begins
to flood.
