Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 6:33 PM CST Dec. 9, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 9 am Saturday
to 3 PM CST Sunday...

* timing... middle to late morning Saturday to early afternoon
Sunday.

* Storm total snow accumulations... 3 to 8 inches with the higher
totals of that range along and north of Highway 20.

* Winds/visibility... southeast winds of 10 to 20 mph with higher
gusts are forecast Saturday afternoon into the night. Visibility
restrictions should vary from a few miles down to less than a
mile during periods of heavier snowfall. Winds should diminish
by Sunday morning and lessen the potential for visibility
restrictions.

* Impacts... the primary impacts will be hazardous travel
conditions due to reduced visibility and snow covered roads.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities and use caution while
driving.
