Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 10:27 AM CST Dec. 4, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 3 PM CST this
afternoon...

* timing... the heaviest snowfall is expected through 1 PM... with
little additional snow after 2 PM in Iowa and after 4 PM in
Illinois.

* Snow accumulations... 4 to 6 inches.

* Impacts... accumulating wet snow will lead to hazardous travel
conditions. Roadways will be slick at times due to slushy snow
and visibilities will be less than a half mile at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
