Weather more typical of Summer than fall can be expected again
today with unusually high heat and humidity for late September.
Highs, which will be at or near records, will be in the upper 80s
to lower 90s with peak heat indices into the middle 90s by this
afternoon.

People planning and attending outdoor events and activities,
especially those participating in athletic events, should be
cognizant of these unusually warm and humid conditions. Take
breaks from the sun and heat if possible, and stay well hydrated
with plenty of water.
