* Flood stage is 15 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage this evening... and continue
rising to 19.6 feet Sunday evening.
* Impact... at 19.5 feet... water affects the port of Burlington.
Water affects residences on first street in Dallas City. Water
also affects Illinois Highway 96 between Niota and Dallas City.
Water also affects several homes in Pontoosuc.

Drier air... along with winds from 20 to 25 mph and gusts to 35 mph
and nearly cured agricultural fields will combine to produce very
high fire danger this afternoon across the area. If an
agricultural field were to catch fire... weather conditions are
such that the fires could spread quickly.
