... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 am CST
Saturday...

* a wintry mix of freezing drizzle and snow will gradually
transition to all snow after midnight. The snow is expected to
linger through Saturday morning before diminishing.

* Additional snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches is expected.
Minor icing is possible as well.

* Hazardous travel is expected through tonight. The combination
of snow and blustery north to northwest winds will create some
blowing and drifting of the snow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow or freezing
drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

Light snow will continue across portions of central and north-
central Wisconsin tonight. Despite precipitation being all snow,
area roadways will continue to be icy due to the freezing drizzle
that fell earlier. In addition, snowfall on icy surfaces will make
roadways even more slippery. Travel tonight could be hazardous,
especially on secondary and untreated roadways. Motorists are
urged to travel with caution and allow extra time to reach your
destination tonight.

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for the area tonight.
