Special Statement
Issued: 12:26 PM CST Feb. 19, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Wintry mix expected late this afternoon into Tuesday morning...

Scattered rain showers or drizzle are expected to change over to
light freezing rain or freezing drizzle late this afternoon or
early this evening as air and Road temperatures fall below
freezing. It now appears there will be a lull or break in the
precipitation late this evening into early Tuesday morning before
steadier precipitation arrives again Tuesday morning.

Ice accumulations from late this afternoon into Tuesday morning
should be a tenth to a quarter of an inch. Temperatures may warm
up enough for the freezing precipitation to switch over to rain
late Tuesday morning and Tuesday afternoon.

Untreated roads will become snow or ice covered and slippery
late this afternoon and this evening and continue into Tuesday
morning. Those with travel plans should closely monitor the
latest forecasts and statements from the National Weather Service
in Green Bay.
