Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 12:23 AM CST Jan. 21, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory in effect until noon CST today...

The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a dense fog
advisory... which is in effect until noon CST today.

* Visibilities will drop to a quarter mile or less at times.

* Poor visibilities will result in hazardous driving conditions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your low beam headlights... and keep a safe distance from
other vehicles.

Special Statement
Issued: 5:33 AM CST Jan. 21, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Scattered slippery conditions this morning...

Areas of fog and locally dense with visibilities reduced one
quarter mile will linger this morning. In addition, areas of
drizzle with scattered light rain showers will pass over the area.
Since both air and Road temperatures are near the freezing mark,
scattered slippery spots can be expected on untreated roads,
bridges, parking lots and sidewalks early this morning.
Temperatures warming into the mid 30s later this morning will end
the threat of icy conditions.

If you have travel plans this morning, slow down and allow extra
time to reach your destination.
