... Winter Storm Watch in effect from Thursday afternoon through
Friday morning...

The National Weather Service in Aberdeen has issued a Winter
Storm Watch... which is in effect from Thursday afternoon through
Friday morning.

* Timing... snow is expected from Thursday afternoon through
Friday morning.

* Snow accumulations... there is the potential for accumulations of
5 to 12 inches. Periods of heavy snow with accumulations of 1
to 2 inches per hour are also possible.

* Winds / visibilities... significant reductions in visibility due
to the combination of heavy snow and northeast winds gusting to
40 to 50mph Thursday night into Friday.

* Impacts... plan on difficult driving conditions.

A Winter Storm Watch means there is potential for significant
snow... sleet or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
