Fire Weather Warning
Issued: 12:33 PM MDT Apr. 26, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Red flag warning remains in effect until 7 PM CDT /6 PM MDT/
this evening for strong northwest winds and low humidities for
portions of northwest and north central North Dakota...

* wind... sustained northwest winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up
to 35 mph.

* Humidity... minimum relative humidities near 20 percent.

* Impacts... any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now... .or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds... low relative humidity... and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
