... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from noon today to 8 am MST
Tuesday...

The National Weather Service in Great Falls has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from noon today to
8 am MST Tuesday.

* Locations... Monida Pass, Raynolds Pass, Targhee Pass, and West
Yellowstone.

* Timing... steadier snow is expected to develop by early afternoon
today. Snow may change to, or mix with, rain at times especially
below 7000-ft elevation. Snow and rain may become heavy at times
late this evening through early Monday morning before tapering
to snow showers during the day Tuesday.

* Snow accumulations... 2 to 5 inches. Higher amounts possible
above 7000-ft elevation.

* Winds... southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

* Temperatures... in the upper 20s to mid 30s.

* Snow level... 6000 to 6500 feet rising to near 7000 feet at
times, especially by this evening and extending through early
Monday morning.

* Impacts... wet snow and rain will make for extremely slick Road
surfaces at times, especially where untreated.
