... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until noon MDT
Thursday for elevations above 6000 feet...

* locations: Battle Ridge Pass, Targhee Pass, West Yellowstone,
and Raynolds Pass.

* Timing: widespread snow showers will continue over the mountains
of southwest Montana through Thursday morning before
diminishing. Some slushy accumulation is expected on Road
surfaces.

* Accumulations: snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches at Mountain
Pass level, 4 to 8 inches in the mountains above the passes.

* Visibilities: less than one mile at times in heavier snow.

* Hazard elevation: for elevations above 6000 feet.

* Snow level: 6500 feet this evening, lowering to 4500 feet by
Thursday morning.

* Impacts: reduced visibility and potentially slick and slushy
Road surfaces will make travel difficult over mountain passes.
