The Flood Warning continues for
the Des Plaines river at Riverside.
* From late tonight to Wednesday morning.
* At 845 PM Monday the stage was 6.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 7.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by early Tuesday and continue to
rise to near 7.8 feet by Tuesday afternoon.
* Impact... at 8.0 feet... park areas are inundated near Salt Creek.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Des Plaines river near Des Plaines.
* Until Thursday afternoon.
* At 845 PM Monday the stage was 16.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 16.7 feet by
Tuesday morning. The river will fall below flood stage Thursday
morning.
* Impact... at 17.0 feet... water on pavement of 1700 block of busse
Highway, at river Rd and Gregory, central Road, and Big Bend drive.

* At 900 PM Monday the stage was 12.9 feet.
* Action stage is 13.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will rise to near 14.4 feet by Tuesday
afternoon.

morning...

* visibility... a quarter mile or less at times.

* Impacts... poor and rapidly changing visibilities in areas of
dense fog will make travel hazardous.
