... Areas of fog continuing to develop... locally dense in places...

Patchy to areas of fog continues to develop and is increasing in coverage
over the region. Visibilities could vary over short distances, mostly
between 2 miles and below a mile and locally below a half mile mainly
in western sections and in low lying areas. The fog is likely to thicken
further over the next few hours. A dense fog advisory may be issued
where widespread dense develops. Motorists should plan for quickly changing
visibilities over short distances and possibly slick and icy roads.
