The Flood Warning continues for the Little Wabash River at Carmi.
* From late Sunday night until further notice.
* At 8 PM Tuesday the stage was 13.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 27.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage next Monday and crest near
28.0 feet next Tuesday.
* Impact... at 27.0 feet... the inundation of County roads begins.

... Flood Watch in effect from 9 PM CST this evening through late
Wednesday night...

The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a

* Flood Watch for all of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana,
western Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.

* From 9 PM CST this evening through late Wednesday night

* multiple rounds of moderate to heavy rainfall will lead to some
minor localized flooding.

* The primary flooding concern will be along small streams and
creeks that feed into already swollen rivers across the region.
Especially in areas that receive multiple rounds of moderate to
heavy rainfall.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
