Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 12:04 PM CST Jan. 16, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory in effect until 3 PM CST this afternoon...

The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a dense fog
advisory... which is in effect until 3 PM CST this afternoon.

* Timing... widespread dense fog will continue until mid
afternoon... then dissipate from south to north during the
afternoon as rain becomes more widespread.

* Visibility... around a half mile or less.

* Impacts... rapid fluctuations in visibilities will cause
hazardous driving conditions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
