Special Statement
Issued: 12:13 PM CST Nov. 24, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Elevated fire danger this afternoon...

Gusty southwest winds along with low relative humidity values and
dry surface fuels will lead to elevated fire danger this
afternoon. Sustained winds of 20 to 25 mph along with higher gusts
are expected today, which combined with minimum relative humidity
values in the 25-35% range, will result in favorable conditions
for rapid fire growth and spread. As a result of these concerns,
outdoor burning is highly discouraged this afternoon.
