... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through Wednesday
morning...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of north central Kansas and south central Nebraska,
including the following areas, in north central Kansas,
Jewell, Mitchell, Osborne, Phillips, Rooks, and Smith. In
south central Nebraska, Clay, Fillmore, Franklin, Furnas,
Harlan, Nuckolls, Thayer, and Webster.

* Through Wednesday morning

* multiple rounds of thunderstorms are expected to produce heavy
rain late through tonight. One to three inches of rain is
expected over portions of the area with locally heavier
amounts possible. Rainfall rates in excess of one inch per
hour are also possible. Areas that received heavy rainfall
Monday night will be more prone to flooding.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
