Special Statement
Issued: 10:04 AM CST Jan. 19, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Potential for dense fog this morning...

Although these eastern counties of south central Nebraska and
north central Kansas are not in a formal dense fog advisory given
that the more widespread dense fog is focused farther west... at
least localized dense fog will still be possible this
morning... potentially reducing visibility to one-quarter mile or
less. Overall though... visibility in most of these counties
should largely bottom out closer to one-half mile... just above
advisory criteria. Nonetheless... motorists should still use
caution this morning in fog and be prepared for rapidly changing
visibility.
