Issued: 9:47 PM CST Jan. 20, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 3 am Sunday to
noon CST Monday...

* what... mixed precipitation expected. Plan on slippery Road
conditions, including during the morning commute on Monday.
Total snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches, with localized
amounts up to 8 inches, and ice accumulations of a light glaze
are expected.

* Where... portions of north central Kansas and portions of east
central and south central Nebraska.

* When... from 3 am Sunday to noon CST Monday. Light freezing
drizzle will be possible Sunday morning with a changeover to
snow during the late afternoon. The heaviest snow will fall
Sunday night. Snow will end Monday.

* Additional details... near blizzard conditions expected, even
after the snow ends. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph will
result in near zero visibility at times in significant blowing
and drifting snow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
