Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 9:11 PM CST Feb. 21, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 3 am to 6 PM
CST Thursday...

* what... mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulation up
to around 1 inch and ice accumulation of a light glaze up to
around one-tenth of an inch are expected. Precipitation types
could fluctuate back and forth between snow and freezing drizzle
at times.

* Where... portions of central, east central and south central
Nebraska.

* When... from 3 am to 6 PM CST Thursday, although the majority of
wintry precipitation will likely fall during the daylight hours.

* Additional details... plan on slippery Road conditions,
especially during the day Thursday, including the evening and
possibly morning commutes. Please note, there is some
uncertainty regarding how much precipitation will fall as snow
versus how much could be freezing drizzle, but either type could
result in slick roads. Precipitation will likely be on- and-off,
and not constant.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
driving. The latest Road conditions for the state you are calling
from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.
