Watches & Warnings

Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 2:18 AM MST Jan. 20, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory remains in effect until 10 am CST /9 am
MST/ this morning...

* visibility... reduced to a quarter mile.

* Impacts... visibilities of a quarter mile... will make driving
hazardous due to low visibility and the potential for black
ice on the roads. If driving and dense fog is encountered...
reduce speed and use low beam headlights to improve
visibility.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
