... Winter Storm Warning in effect from midnight tonight to
midnight MST Tuesday night...

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a Winter
Storm Warning for heavy snow and blowing snow... which is in
effect from midnight tonight to midnight MST Tuesday night.

* Timing... from midnight tonight to midnight Tuesday night.

* Total snow accumulations... 3 to 5 inches.

* Winds/visibility... winds will become north or northwest
between 15 to 30 mph Tuesday morning. Gusts up to 40 mph are
possible in the afternoon. Visibilities around one half mile
are expected Tuesday through late Tuesday evening.

* Impacts... travel will become hazardous Tuesday morning due to
slick and icy roads. Dangerous travel is possible late Tuesday
and Tuesday evening for a combination of slick and snowpacked
roads and poor visibilities due to falling and blowing snow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow
are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an
emergency. If you must travel... keep an extra flashlight...
food... and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
