The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a

* Flood Warning for
The Bayou D'Arbonne at lake D'Arbonne.
* From late tonight to Thursday morning... or until the warning is
cancelled.
* At 6:45 PM Friday the stage was 82.7 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Expect a rise to near 85 feet on Saturday and hold through
Sunday.
* Flood stage is 83.0 feet.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Ouachita River at Monroe, Louisiana.
* From Wednesday afternoon until further notice... or until the
warning is cancelled.
* At 1100 am Friday the stage was 31.3 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 40 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by next Wednesday early afternoon and
continue to rise near 42 feet by March 9. Additional rises remain
possible thereafter.
* Impact... at 40.0 feet... minor backwater flooding affects small
bayous that drain into the Ouachita River along with minor lowland
flooding between levee systems. Expect flooding between levee systems
in Monroe. Secure boats and docks for high water. Also secure
recreational areas for high water.

... Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 9 am to 6 PM CST Saturday...

The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a lake Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 9 am to 6 PM CST Saturday.

* Event... southerly winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts to near 30 mph.

* Timing... Saturday morning through Saturday evening.

* Impact... rough chop on area lakes will create hazardous
boating conditions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.
