* until 930 PM CDT

* at 732 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain causing minor
flooding in the advisory area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain has
already fallen in some areas.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Holdenville, Madill, Tishomingo, Coalgate, Kingston, Wetumka,
Allen, Mannsville, Ravia, Stonewall, Wapanucka, Dustin, Tupelo,
Milburn, Calvin, Stuart, Bromide, Lamar, Mead and Gerty.

Additional rainfall of 1 inch is expected over the area. This
additional rain will result in minor flooding.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots. Turn around, don't drown.
A flood advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

The Flood Watch for flash flooding... flooding of creeks and
rivers... and flooding of low lying areas continues for

* portions of central Oklahoma, east central Oklahoma, southeast
Oklahoma, southern Oklahoma, and southwest Oklahoma, including
the following areas, in central Oklahoma, Canadian, Cleveland,
Grady, Lincoln, McClain, Oklahoma, and Pottawatomie. In east
central Oklahoma, Pontotoc and Seminole. In southeast
Oklahoma, Atoka, Bryan, Coal, Hughes, Johnston, and Marshall.
In southern Oklahoma, Carter, Garvin, Love, and Murray. In
southwest Oklahoma, Caddo.

* Through Sunday morning

* widespread 2 to 5 inches of rain are forecast with locally
higher amounts possible.
