The Flood Warning continues for
the San Bernard River near Boling
* until Tuesday evening... or until the warning is canceled.
* At 0846 am Saturday the stage was 26.9 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet. Moderate flood stage is 22.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by late
Tuesday morning.
* At 27.0 feet... there is widespread moderate lowland flooding upstream from the
gage with significant backwater flooding up west Bernard creek and Peach Creek
in Wharton County and low lying areas in the El Lobo subdivision are
threatened. Backwater flooding up Snake Creek in Fort Bend County threatens
low areas in the tierra grande subdivision.

the San Bernard River near East Bernard
* until this evening... or until the warning is canceled.
* At 0800 am Saturday the stage was 16.9 feet.
* Nonflood flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* At 17.0 feet... minor lowland flooding begins in the vicinity of the gage with
minor roads along the river inundated. Backwater flooding up Britt branch and
bratcher Slough begins.

... Gale Warning remains in effect from 2 am to 9 PM CST Sunday...

... Dense fog advisory will expire at 10 am CST this morning...


* winds... increasing Saturday night into Sunday... west to
northwest 25 to 35 knots with gusts up to 45 knots.

* Seas... increasing late Saturday night into Sunday... 5 to 7 feet nearshore
and 9 to 12 feet offshore with occasional heights up to 15 feet
offshore.

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occuring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
Harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.
