... The Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 930 PM CDT for
southern Fisher and northwestern Nolan counties...

At 806 PM CDT... Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Some areas of western rural Nolan
County have received as much as 4 inches of rain according to radar
rainfall estimates. Flash flooding is likely occurring in these
areas.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Sweetwater... Roscoe... Wastella... Longworth... Champion... Capitola...
Camp Boothe Oaks...
the intersection of ranch Road 608 and Highway 147...
Lake Sweetwater... Busby... Gannon...
US-84 near the Nolan-Fisher County line and I-20 near the
Nolan-Mitchell County line.

Turn around... don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* until 1130 PM CDT

* at 836 PM CDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause Urban and Small Stream flooding in
the advisory area. Up to one inch of rain has fallen in some
locations with additional rainfall of up to two inches over the
next few hours.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Abilene... Winters... Robert Lee... Blackwell... Maverick... Nolan...

* From 7 PM CDT this evening through Monday morning

* rainfall amounts totaling 3 to 5 inches with locally higher
amounts possible.

* Heavy rainfall will lead to saturated soils and runoff that
will likely result in flooding of poor drainage and low lying
areas creeks... streams and ... street flooding.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
