The National Weather Service in Denver Colorado has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
east central Weld County in northeastern Colorado...
northeastern Morgan County in northeastern Colorado...
northeastern Washington County in northeastern Colorado...
Logan County in northeastern Colorado...

* until 815 PM MDT

* at 723 PM MDT, very strong outflow winds produced by a line of
thunderstorms was located along a line extending from 8 miles
northeast of Westplains to near Pawnee Pass to 3 miles north of
Snyder, or along a line extending from 21 miles southeast of
Kimball to 14 miles west of Sterling to 13 miles northeast of Fort
Morgan. The leading edge of these outflow winds was moving east at
55 mph.

Hazard... 60 mph wind gusts.

Source... radar indicated.

Impact... expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Blowing dust
           could reduce visibilities to less than a few hundred feet
           in open areas. Drivers of high profile and light weight
           vehicles could lose control with these strong cross
           winds.

* Locations impacted include...
Sterling, Fleming, Merino, Iliff, Peetz, Crook, Prewitt Reservoir,
St Petersburg, Antelope Springs, Proctor, Padroni, Atwood, North
Sterling Reservoir, Willard, Stoneham, Westplains, Twin Buttes,
Burdett, Logan corners and Pawnee Pass.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Wind damage with these storms will occur before any rain or
lightning. Do not wait for the sound of thunder before taking cover.
Seek shelter immediately inside a sturdy structure and stay away from
windows.
