... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 am MST
Wednesday...

* locations include the cities of... Columbine... Hahns Peak...
Toponas... Buford... Trappers Lake.

* Timing... snow will taper off overnight and there will be a lull
before snowfall picks up again later Tuesday afternoon through
Wednesday morning. Blowing snow will still continue despite the
lull in precipitation.

* Snow accumulation... 5 to 10 inches with locally higher amounts
on west facing slopes.

* Winds... west 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph over the
higher elevations.

* Impacts... low visibility in periods of heavy snow and blowing
snow will make travel difficult especially over Rabbit Ears
Pass.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow and/or
blowing snow will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
