... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5 PM MST this
afternoon...

* timing... periods of snow through today. There will be bursts
of moderate to heavy snow through this morning. Snow tapers
off this afternoon.

* Snowfall so far... 3 to 6 inches except 8 inches on Casper
Mountain.

* Snow totals... 4 to 7 inches. Locally higher amounts expected
in the foothills of Casper Mountain. Snowfall on Casper
Mountain will range from 7 to 11 inches.

* Wind and visibility... quarter to half mile in moderate to
heavy snowfall.

* Main impact... roads and highways will become slick and snow
packed and travel could be difficult at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
visibilities will be severely limited due to strong winds blowing
snow around. Use caution when traveling especially in open areas.
