... Winter Storm Warning in effect from 5 am Sunday to noon MST
Monday...

The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Winter
Storm Warning for snow and blowing snow... which is in effect from
5 am Sunday to noon MST Monday. The Winter Storm Watch is no
longer in effect.

* Timing... light snow across western and northwestern Wyoming
today and tonight will give way to increasing moderate snowfall
by Sunday morning. Heavy snow is expected over the mountains by
Sunday evening... lasting overnight into early Monday morning
before decreasing in intensity through the rest of the morning
hours.

* Total snowfall... possible 10 to 20 inches.

* Wind and visibility... southwest wind increasing to 25 to 35
mph with gusts 40 to 50 mph by Sunday afternoon may cause
areas of blowing and drifting snow... with visibility limited
to one quarter mile or less at times.

* Impacts... roads may become snow packed and slick with limited
visibility at times. People planning outdoor activities should
be prepared for adverse winter weather conditions and take the
proper precautions.
