... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 5 PM MST this
afternoon...

* timing... snowfall will taper off today.

* Snow level... 4000 to 5000 feet

* additional snow accumulations this morning... trace to 4 inches
above 4500 feet.

* Winds... south 15 to 25 mph with gusts 35 mph.

* Impacts... snowfall will create difficult travel conditions in the
mountains due to slick roads and low visibility. Road restrictions
or closures may be needed. This includes the Hualapai
Mountains... and Interstate 40 east of Kingman.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Check Road conditions before departing and stay up to date on the
latest forecast. Use caution when traveling... be prepared for
snow covered roads and limited visibilities.





Areal Flood Warning
Issued: 7:38 AM MST Jan. 21, 2017 – National Weather Service

The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
southern Mohave County in northwestern Arizona...

* until 130 PM MST

* at 733 am MST, reporting gauges indicated moderate flooding
along burro creek and Big Sandy river in southern Mohave County.

Flood waters are moving down the Big Sandy river from burro creek to
Alamo Lake. The flood crest is expected to reach the Big Sandy wash
around 8 am MST and to Alamo Lake by 10 to 12 PM. Waters are
expected to recede rapidly after cresting. This will impact Manly
rural roads in far southern Mohave County south of Wikieup.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
