... Wind Advisory remains in effect until 8 PM PST this evening...

* winds... areas of northeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 45
mph. Isolated gusts to 55 mph below the Cajon Pass and near the
coastal foothills of the Santa Ana Mountains.

* Timing... strongest midday... decreasing and becoming more
localized during the late afternoon and evening.

* Location... along and below coastal mountain slopes and passes
and canyons.

* Visibility... locally reduced at times in blowing dust.

* Impacts... the winds will make driving difficult... especially
for motorists with high profile vehicles. Watch for broken
tree limbs. Areas of blowing dust could locally reduce
visibility at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution..

... Red flag warning remains in effect until 8 PM PST this evening
for strong gusty winds and low humidity for portions of San Bernardino...
Riverside... and Orange counties...

* wind... areas of northeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 45
mph. Isolated gusts to 55 mph below the Cajon Pass and near the
coastal foothills of the Santa Ana Mountains.

* Location... strongest winds along and below coastal mountain
slopes and passes and canyons.

* Humidity... lowest near 15 percent.

* Timing... strongest and most widespread winds midday, slowly
subsiding this evening.

* Outlook... light winds on Monday, but daytime relative humidity
minimums will be lower, especially in the mountains .

* Impacts... any fires that develop may spread rapidly.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now... .or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds... low relative humidity... and heat can contribute to
extreme fire behavior.
