The Flood Warning continues for
the Sacramento River at Ord Ferry.
* At 1:45 am Monday the stage was 114.1 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast to fluctuate near 114.5 ft thru this morning then forecast
to fall below flood stage of 114.0 ft this afternoon then forecast
to recede to near 112.0 ft early tomorrow morning.
* Flood stage 114.0 ft
* monitor stage 110.0 ft
* impact... near 114.0 feet, designated flood stage. Design overflow
level for m&t, 3bs and Goose Lake flood control facilities to
divert flood flows into Butte basin. M&t overflows close River Road
from Ord Ferry Road to Chico Road. Ord Ferry Road is already
closed.
* Impact... near 110.5 feet, head cuts in 3bs Silt Weir start overflow
into Butte basin, flooding dips on Ord Ferry Road west of River
Road. Persistent flows at or above this level increase flooding in
Butte basin. Ord Ferry Road and additional roads in Glenn and
Colusa counties are closed due to flooding.

Forecast information for
Sacramento River at Tisdale Weir.
* At 1:15 am Monday the stage was 49.1 feet.
* Present overflow depth is about 3.6 ft then overflow to remain near
depth of 3.7 ft thru this afternoon then overflow depth at Weir
decreasing to 3.6 ft tomorrow evening then overflow to remain near
depth of 3.6 ft thru early Wednesday morning.
* Flood stage 53.0 ft
* monitor stage 45.5 ft
* impact... near 45.5 feet, Tisdale Weir crest elevation. Overflow
begins into the Tisdale bypass. This water eventually ends up in
the Sutter bypass.
