The National Weather Service in Pago Pago has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch continues for all islands of American Samoa

* through 3 PM SST afternoon

* satellite imageries show most of the heavy showers to the south
while a few remnants are found slightly north of savaii and
Upolu. Heavy rainfall remains possible as these remnants move
over the samoan island chain.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
