* what... snow. Accumulations 3 to 6 inches in the mountains above
1500 feet and 1 to 3 inches in the lower elevations expected.
Locations near the immediate coast may see only a trace to 1
inch of snow.

* Where... locations in the warning include rural mountain
locations above 1500 feet. Locations in the advisory include
Coos Bay, North Bend, Reedsport, Bandon, Port Orford, Coquille,
Brookings, Harbor, and Gold Beach. Portions of Highway 101 will
be affected, especially where it GOES over mountains above 200
feet.

* When... until 1 PM PST. The heaviest snow will occur between 3 am
and 8 am.

* Additional details... plan on difficult travel conditions,
including during the morning commute. Be prepared for
significant reductions in visibility at times.

The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a freeze
watch... which is in effect from Thursday evening through Friday
morning.

* Temperature: overnight lows of 28 to 32 degrees are possible
Thursday night into Friday morning.

* Locations include: nearly all of the immediate southern Oregon
coast, including Reedsport, Coos Bay, North Bend, Bandon,
Langlois, Gold Beach, and Brookings.

* Impacts: plants sensitive to freezing conditions can be damaged
or killed, if left unprotected.
