... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 6 PM this evening to
4 am PST Thursday...

The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for freezing rain... sleet and snow... which is in
effect from 6 PM this evening to 4 am PST Thursday.

* Locations... Moses Lake, Ephrata, Othello, Quincy, Wenatchee,
Chelan, Entiat, Cashmere, Waterville, Mansfield, and Badger
Mountain Road.

* Ice accumulations... 0.05 to 0.15 inches.

* Snow and sleet accumulations... up to 1 inch.

* Timing... a mixture of snow... sleet and freezing rain will
develop Wednesday evening... before decreasing overnight into
Thursday morning.

* Impacts... any sleet or freezing rain or snow will lead to very
slick roads and walkways especially for Wednesday evening and
early overnight. Impacts may linger on roads and surfaces
through the Thursday morning commute.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow

* Flood Advisory for minor flooding in poor drainage areas for...

* the areal Flood Watch has been upgraded to a Flood Advisory.

* A second round of light to moderate rainfall will occur tonight
into Thursday morning. Rain tonight will likely cause our low
elevation snow pack to become increasingly wet and slushy.

* An additional quarter to one half inch of rainfall is expected
tonight and Thursday.

* Road crews in the advisory area have reported large puddles over
roadways and intersections. Large puddles may deepen to the point
that they cause minor flooding to homes or other structures.

* Other potential impacts include: rises on small streams and
creeks and a small potential for ice jams on creeks and rivers as
well.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
