... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from noon today to
9 am akst Thursday...

* what... snow and blowing snow expected. Plan on slippery Road
conditions, including during the evening commute. In addition,
areas of poor visibility are expected. Total snow accumulations
of 3 to 7 inches, with localized amounts up to 12 inches north
and west of Dillingham, are expected.

* Where... Bristol Bay.

* When... noon today to 9 am Thursday.

* Additional details... winds gusting as high as 35 mph will
cause areas of blowing and drifting snow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means periods
of snow and blowing snow will cause primarily travel
difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited
visibilities, and use caution while driving.

Thursday Bristol Bay and surrounding areas...

The National Weather Service in Anchorage has issued a coastal
flood advisory, which is in effect from 6 am to noon akst
Thursday.

* Location... Bristol Bay.

* Coastal flooding... rough surf conditions are expected early
Thursday and will cause beach erosion. Water levels will rise to
2 to 4 feet above the maximum astronomical tide level.

* Timing... 6 am to noon akst Thursday.

* Impacts... minor inundation of low-lying coastal areas.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A coastal flood advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
