... Freezing Rain Advisory remains in effect until 2 am EST
Tuesday...

Hazardous weather...

* periods of freezing rain through this evening with
   temperatures at or just below 32 degrees.

* Occasional mix of snow and sleet remains possible late this
   afternoon... but little if any accumulation.

* Temperatures will rise above 32 degrees and remain above
   freezing shortly after midnight... allowing for a changeover
   to a cold rain.

Impacts...

* ice accumulation up to a tenth of an inch expected... mainly on
   elevated surfaces.

* Icy roads... mainly secondary and untreated roads.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Freezing Rain Advisory means that periods of freezing rain or
freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving.
Sidewalks and driveways will also be icy... use caution while
walking.

... Freezing Rain Advisory remains in effect until 2 am EDT...

Temperatures that have been hovering around the freezing mark
during the afternoon are expected to drop slightly below freezing
with sunset. This will occur as another round of heavier
precipitation moves through the region, mainly between 600 PM and
800 PM in the form of freezing rain. Sleet is also briefly
possible.

A light glazing will be possible through early evening, mainly on
elevated surfaces like bridges and overpasses. Untreated secondary
roads and unpaved roads will also remain icy.
