... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 1 PM EST
Wednesday...

* locations... North Woods... portions of the Central Highlands...
Central Aroostook and the St. John valley.

* Hazard types... snow... sleet and freezing rain.

* Accumulations... additional snow and sleet accumulations of 1 to
4 inches.

* Ice accumulations... additional ice accumulations of around a
tenth of an inch.

* Timing... through Wednesday morning.

* Impacts... expect travel difficulties. Snow, sleet and a glaze
of ice will produce slippery conditions. Ice may cause a few
tree limbs to snap with scattered power outages possible.

* Winds... northeast 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* Visibilities... one quarter to one half mile at times.

* Temperatures... in the upper 20s.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...
