... A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect until 630 PM MDT
for west central Torrance County...

At 552 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Willard, or 9
miles southwest of Estancia, moving south at 15 mph.

Hazard... two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

Source... radar indicated.

Impact... people and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
         Mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Estancia, Mountainair and Willard.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Areal Flood Advisory
Issued: 5:29 PM MDT Jun. 26, 2017 – National Weather Service

The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Arroyo and small stream flood advisory for...
southwestern Santa Fe County in north central New Mexico...
north central Torrance County in central New Mexico...

* until 730 PM MDT.

* At 527 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms between Golden, Edgewood, Moriarty and McIntosh.
These storms will produce rainfall amounts between one and two
inches and cause Arroyo and small stream flooding in the advisory
area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Edgewood, Moriarty, McIntosh, Stanley and Cedar Grove.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

In mountainous or hilly terrain there are numerous low water
crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not
attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate Route.

The heavy rainfall and slow movement of these storms may result in
flooding of Road intersections and low lying areas. Waters may begin
to run in normally dry arroyos.

... Significant weather advisory for southeastern Sandoval...
southwestern Santa Fe... Bernalillo and northern Torrance counties
until 630 PM MDT...

At 555 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles southeast of Torreon Navajo mission to
near Edgewood. Movement was south at 15 mph.

Dime size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with
these storms.

Heavy rain and frequent and dangerous cloud to ground lightning will
also be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Rio Rancho, Corrales, Bernalillo, Edgewood, Tijeras, San Ysidro,
Mariposa, San Felipe Pueblo, Coronado state Monument and Vista Hills.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 40 between mile markers 175 and 188.
Interstate 25 between mile markers 235 and 253.
